With Inaugural Awards, Open to All Celebrates Outstanding Leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
To recognize outstanding leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion, Open to All will honor three corporations at the organization’s Inaugural Awards Dinner, coinciding with the First Annual Open to All Convening happening in San Francisco, California on October 17 and 18.
We’re fortunate to have hundreds of thousands of business and nonprofit members working to transform America as part of the Open to All coalition. In a community filled with formidable leaders with unwavering commitment to advancing DEI, this year there were three partners who stood apart and demonstrated dedicated leadership.
Open to All Innovation Award
Presented to SEPHORA, this award recognizes their visionary leadership in co-creating Open to All’s Mitigate Racial Bias in Retail Charter. Sephora recently commissioned a study offering a much-needed awareness of the bias experienced by BIPOC shoppers in retail spaces. Open to All is eternally grateful for SEPHORA’s assistance in planning and launching the Charter.
Open to All Collaboration Award
This award is presented to DICK’S Sporting Goods for providing valuable resources for the retail industry to address racial bias. In addition to being a loyal Leadership Circle member, DICK’S has demonstrated altruism that has gone on to help many others.
Open to All Advocacy Award
This award was given to Yelp in recognition of their far-reach and intersectional support of all the Open to All people and communities that we serve. Since the start of Open to All, Yelp’s contributions have been vital in expanding our movement.
We would like to thank these remarkable companies for their steadfast support of Open to All and its goals. Open to All would also like to extend gratitude to all our corporate sponsors, nonprofit partners, and small businesses. Our strength is in our collective impact, and it is an honor to do this work in partnership with you.
